Exciting Changes Abound The Happenings At International Shipping.
Monday, December 5th, 2011This is a company said to be a small yet regional carrier. Mexico and Costa Rica are among the other destinations they are known to service even as a regional carrier. Their home base is in Milwaukee Wisconsin. We recently learned some interesting and exciting news about International Shipping, they are indeed merging with Frontier airlines. Both organizations are glad to hear this good news since beginning negotiations in early 2010 and hopefully finishing up in 2011. In the next few months we are likely to see some exciting developments here.
Midwest planes will no doubt be outfitted with the tell-tale designs of frontier airlines planes. The Story got started in 1994 when Frontier announced they wanted something entirely different fort their aircraft. They solely wanted to be different from any other carrier. The planes were soon outfitted with wildlife themes. They then took these themes one step further and developed unique advertising concepts. Their planes are now adorned with more than 50 different animal designs. We are excited to see this tradition continue after the merger completes.
You have probably noticed that many small regional airlines won’t have a section designated as first class only? For this reason Frontier/Midwest has implemented a unique program for those who desire the extra space. The program is uniquely names STRETCH which applies only to the first four rows of seats. What that means overall in terms of seating ?pitch? is a grand total of three feet ? 36 inches, and personally we believe that should be enough for anyone.
If you are like most people you are concerned with the weight of your baggage. Midwest has a weight limit of 50 pounds. But, in the event any one of your bags does weigh more than that, you will unfortunately be charged an extra $75. This only applies to overweight bags of course. You’ll want to be sure you read the rules and/or exceptions to this rule for additional details.
Most people determine which airline they’ll use by where they are travelling. Service areas vary among regional carriers with some being larger than others. The merger will increase the destinations available with Frontier. Even before this happened, Midwest had a robust collection of the usual perks and benefits usually found with the larger and more recognized airlines.Details about international shipping company.
